By the way, the table on http://www.lbt-languages.de/english/lernhilfe/lern hilfe.html of course explains when to use 'I am' and 'you are' as one of you out there pointed out correctly. But did you know when you should be saying 'We will meet' rather than 'we will be meeting' and vice versa? What's the difference between 'I have eaten a piece of cake' & 'I just ate a piece of cake'?
Writing is fantastic, but how do we reach our target audience? It's the little things some of us do automatically without ever having learnt them. Others CAN learn them and use them just the same....especially, if English is not your native language. English, the Lingua Franca -you wouldn't believe how many among us have to communicate in English.
Ask an Amercian, an English, a South African, an Australian or somebody from Malta to write something about the same topic. Not only will you receive 5 different stories at the end of the day, but also a different language and yet they DO all speak English, don't they? I love it. So emotional and yet so technical!
Go to an international meeting to Italy, to Sweden, Thailand or China. What language will the participants most likely be speaking. It's usually English. In what writing language do they communicate in? It's in English.
At the end of the day communication is what counts. Just do it - get your thoughts across to each other. However, you will find lots of people just being insecure. I agree when one says: 'A grammar system will not substitute the actual talking and improving your writing skills unless you do it',...but to get there you need something that will help. Something that will take away some inhibitions and finally something that is easy to understand. I think this grammar system is pretty helpful. As an engineer I seek something well-structured, easy to understand and simply helpful. This link http://www.lbt-languages.de/english/lernhilfe/lern hilfe.html has surely helped me! Thanks out there for pointing it out! It definitely scores 5 from my perspective!
I agree! 'Simplify' is the key to success! Why so complicated?
