Shadowrun isn't the sequel to Shadowgate. Shadowrun refers to the line of cyberpunk games (especially tabletop games) of the same name made by FASA. (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowrun, or http://www.shadowrunrpg.com/resources/faq.shtml). I'm suprised that they are even making a next gen shadowrun game, much less have it featured in the E3 conference because I've always thought shadowrun had only cult popularity.
