this is no joke. my hometown has adopted this for it's city center. it actually works very well:
- when driving a motorvehicle you have to be careful and slow down because cyclist and pedestrians can pop up at any place at any time
- when on foot or cycling, you can walk wherever you want without being run off your feet by before mentioned motorvehicilists
it brings people back to their own responsibility instead of "just following the rules".

it is a patched version of the pvr250 cards for pvr150/500 cards. i am running mythtv 0.18-fixes on FreeBSD 4.11 using two pvr500 cards in one box ( 4 tuners ).
i have clients on freebsd and on xebian/xbox
