call me cynical if you want but the amount of free publicity EA will get from this will far outweigh the loss of revenue from the banned sales, ALL corporate decisions are based on money not ethics or respect.
That is true but a basic spirit 3 only costs between £75 to £150 (dependant on features) to supply plus the fitting cost, so It theoretically would be possible for a health tourist to find a supplier to get a basic model reasonably cheep, the problem would be after sales support for recalibration and retubing,
In the UK my hearing aid (i only need one) was free, plus free batteries, free retubing service, free replacement if faulty, it is only if I wanted to go for the vanity route would i have to pay for a " in the ear" model and these are hundreds not thousands of pounds to purchase.
this guy you know is full of bull, i have been to the a&e at 2am with i bad cut, within 2 hours i was xrayed just to make sure there was no glass left in, and within another 30 mins was glued up and on my way home, and everytime i have needed medication i have walked away from the consultation with a prescription in hand, and as i am diabetic all prescriptions are free, which is good has i take 8 diferent medications.
I am an emergency first responder and have perfomed CPR in anger, I knew the percentages. as well has having an AED and oxygen, the patient died, and yes i went through weeks of self examination sleepless nights etc, but I came out thinking that yes it was worthwhile and I still would and do do it again, Next time they may survive.
