New Orleans in particular was one of the 5 largest cities in the USA, and the largest in the south. Today, Louisianians are making out like bandits with tax payer dollars. There is at least $4bn of new money being spent that we did not earn from direct revenue or state taxes. Furthermore, our ports are the largest in the USA. 15% of all Crude oil in the USA passes through Louisiana one way or another, and we are looking forward to taxing the $70bn of off shore drilling happening in our waters. We also supply 1/4 of all the natural gas in the country, and manage the strategic oil reserves. Wipe us out and watch what happens to our nations economy.

At least 1600 people died as the result of the last major hurricane to hit the Louisiana coast. It took FEMA 5 days to get potable water to the Superdome. The Army Corps of Engineers failed to construct levees to the specifications ordered by Congress. The city flooded and people died because lots of people have said, "Fuck You Louisiana" in the past. Louisiana is home to arguably the most unique culture in the USA. Louisiana is vitally important to the US economy. As are many things that are unique and important, it is contentious. However, your impotant hatred, bigotry and ignorance is nothing special.

I can find no information in that article or other reference on the web that indicates he was found dead in his house in the morning. Have some respect, and don't spread falsities. It would be prudent to wait some time before releasing the circumstances surrounding his death, and I believe his family is doing that. On another note, I really hope there is a Michael Jackson style funeral, with swarms of people and disruption.

first of all, I am beginning to questiont the absolute truth of that article. I have asked people around, and it is simple to uninstall 5.0. you simply need to go to the add/remove programs and a shortcut to remove exists. I am going to go with the sheer truth that the lady was simply dumb. She had a friend at cnn, who said "hey, lets be a big shot and write this up". Im sure there will be some fuss from AOL on this one
Yes, i agree with some of the stuff said..except i wish the anonymous cowerd would make sense..., regardless...the main point i must reply to is that AOL asks if to be the primary internet browser, first of all...it asks to be the primary internet shortcut handler, not browser. Secondly this is a feature in windows, not in AOL...the message is generic for any multipurpose internet application. If some average individual in society cant comprehend plain english, then he SHOULD be a victim of business. Profit off of idiots is how the rich work, weather people admit to it or not.

It does a simple procedure of asking you when you first start it if you would like 2 have aol handle all of your internent shortcuts. You dont HAVE to do this. And its as simple as changing the defaults in internet options to change that. CNN is mistaken, and probably does not understand windows, and its ways. Then again, they are not alone.
Basically what i would like to see - is moderators explain why the person is getting a certian score - cus it seems to me that people are just full of envey for good comments, and just lust karma for themselves, moderators should be moderated and checked so we can see who is doing a good job or not. priveleges revoked from those who dont know what thehell they are doing etc. ~ feel free to "moderate", i dont have much for u to take away..
I think that open source should have been copyrighted, int he last 6 months more companies than ever are tryin to go open source, can u imagine how profitable it would have been to just copyright it from the get go (the whole idea of open source - in software anyway) As more and more companies go open source, it seems to be taking away from the original enthusiasm of linux, and how powerful its future is. People are confused spending time making other products better.
What sense does that make? If a company wanted to fire an individual he probably sucked anyway! I mean, the market is flooded so much that there are currently more jobs than people around to fill them. So, if you are being fired - then you truly ARE a dumbass. Furthermore, imagine u got promoted (it happens), and then you had to deal with someone who fuq'd with their code so that no one can do anything with it. You would be screwed years of work and money. I dunno, jus way i feel. Ill stop now.
In the United States - doctors are mandated to provide the best patient security available. They are bound by the patient doctor confidentiality contract. Its an oath. If you are worried about the doctors well-being, i think they are pretty safe. Having a simple unsecure login and passwords is an attempt to secure patient information. Its not like the doc is giving out patient information from his mouth, just making the lives of his patients easier. He will win in court 10:1, and '1' being a complete idiot of a person who deserves a punishment. And - we cant forget that if someone wants around a security system - eventually with pepsi filled nights they will acheive their goal. It is hard for medical institutions to update security measuers as really - computers produce no new income.
Emmm, buddy - 3 beam projectors are more than precise for those applications. As i satated, as the LCD's get larger, the less color definition they have. 3 Beamers (not BMW's) become more popular at this point. You should have targeted practicality in ur "re", because precision is what 3 beamers area all about. E-mail me if ud like to see good ones, i got plenty of links...
