Um, i think the issue here is that this is to my knoledge the second action of Google that causes concern among some members of the public, for obvious reasons stated above..
The second one, as you will know is the storgae of search results, that is currentl causing privacy issues..
I remember a post on slashdot not too long ago, which i paraphrase as: "at the moment google is everyones darling, how long until they become an evil corporate identity."
Guess you gotta do, whats good for business...
