To mitigate threat... as simple as that. Interesting mentality. Oh, the Trojan doesn't want me to delete it, the only way to delete it is to format.. I'll just leave it there. Doesn't matter that it's going to cause future unprovoked harm.

In my thesis I'm also creating a 3d model from a video stream, only I'm using stereoscopy and pattern recognition to find matching objects in each frame and triangulating the depth to said objects. By the end I'm hoping to reduce the objects to small pixel clusters; the tricky part is that all this is happening in real-time. By mounting the cameras on a device where the point of view is know, it could be used to map out any static terrain by just navigating through it. Adding more cameras from different perspectives increases the completeness of the generated model. The article has definately got the right idea. With sufficient object detection and tracking algorithms, you could minimise or eliminate the need to draw the template.

Not recommended? Interesting, it works well at my work. I have the users' OST files on their home drives and the home drives replicated to remote sites via DFS. That way each user can be set up using exchange and always has a local copy of their email regardless of what site they're at.

My preference for backing up 300gb is to just have it in RAID1 to start with.
Either way you'll need another disk, this way it's natively backed up. Unless of course you SOL and both disks die simultaneously.

That is the best formula for playing any game that is for those who want to fill that "gambler's buzz". The player must have some type of risk in where if they loose they will be punished and loose whatever they had previously worked on.
Yes.. but with this fear and excitement, comes frustration. It rewards the veterans and penalises the newbies. Lets take a look at your second example, counterstrike. Your average veteran player will get excited when seeing a group of people as they'll need to duck and weave and kill with pinpoint accuracy to avoid death, loss of equipment and sitting out for the rest of the round. When they survive, they will feel a lot more satisfaction. For those new to the game, they will die straight up, lose all their equipment and spend 90% of their time watching... is this exciting to them? Unlikely.
