This is what more people should do. Far too many people spend their time bemoaning the "sad state of affairs" they are faced with when what they should be doing is taking action.
I am guilty of this kind of laziness. It seems that with all the things that are happening in the US, now is the time to change. Now is when we should all be taking an active part in our government.
If this country becomes so restrictive that we no longer have the basic freedoms that many have fought and died for, it is our own fault for letting it happen.
I commend you for your effort to make your town a better place. You may not receive many thanks now, but your effort will be well worth what you put into it.

I've heard good things about this book, but so far nobody has really told me what it was about. I've been a big discworld fan for some time, but there are so many books from the series that it's difficult to decide which ones to read. (Let's face it, we can't all afford to get 25 books at one time).
After this review, I think I'll pick this one up soon.
