Google+ lost me with circles. With facebook, when I posted something it was all about me: "Here's something I find interesting... Here's a picture I took... If you're interested, take a look, if not, move along..." With google+, as soon as I want to share something, I'm asked "Who do you want to share this with?"
When faced with the question of whether or not any particular person might be interested in what I was sharing, I generally end up saying "Nah..." and cancel.
I can understand the concept of wanting to control who you share with, but in practice -- I don't want the responsibility.
