If this is the case, let's have a class action lawsuit agains M$ for all the spam I get from hotmail and msn accounts. Since they own it, they are responsible for it!
Every time I read an article like this one, all I can think about is little turds rolling out of Bill Gate's diaper... Linux is pushing Windows around and the folks in Redmond don't know what to do about it. They are literally shitting their pants... They can't stop it so all they can really do is sit back and bad mouth it with no hard facts to support their arguments. They really make themselves look bad. If they want to stop it they need to shut up and accept it and write better code that may actually be able to compete with Linux. Well... that's my 2 cents.:-)
Well, let's see. Ever since my 390 replaced my refrigerator in my kitchen, I've been looking something a little less cumbersome than MVS and cheaper than OE. This is a God send... Ok, really,... The only people who could afford (or atleast have a use for a 390) aren't saving that much cash by running linux. Is it worth the risk? A high end company invests in a 390 for it's mission critical enterprise solutions (..insert other buzz words here..) Are they going to use a tried and true OS/390 that's been hacked and rehacked for 30+ years and is possibly the most stable OS around or are they going to go with the new Linux port?
