Do yourselves a favor - go to Amazon.com and grab a copy of _The Transparent Society_ by David Brin. He provides a lot of fantastic arguments - both for and against - a more transparent society.
I disagree with the premise that the Net is like the Airline industry. The reason is simple - the major airports all have more than 1 carrier, and they usually go to similar destinations. So, unregulated airlines means price wars.
How many people have more than 1 broadband choice to the home? I am one of the lucky ones that do, but it will be a long time before there is enough competition in this market to make zero regulation work in a positive way like the airline industry.
Just my 2 cents. Can I have change back?
