    You might also check out Role Playing Tools (rptools.net), it has the following tools to aid in your gaming:

    MapTool - virtual tabletop
    DiceTool - powerfull dice rolling
    InitiativeTool - Encounter management
    TokenTool - easily create avatars from any image

    All tools are written in Java and are completely free. Development is very active and new feature requests are always welcome.
