  1. Definition of Squatting on US House of Reps. Bans "Cybersquatting" · · Score: 1

If one buys up a series of 3 letter .com domain names with the 'possible' intention of using them in the future is this squatting? If the growth of the Internet and demand for domain names continues apace these short domain names will have an ever increasing value as marketing tools. An example: I might open up an on-line store and could use xxx.com as the domain name even if the site is branded as xxxsports or xxxmusic. *In this case I'm assuming the xxx is not a 'word' but a random mix of numbers and letters.

As this programme is being broadcast to Joe Public I reckon the questions are likely to be broad rather than deep. Though this would be an interesting question Paxman is likely to focus more on BGs wealth and influence rather than the specific nature of the products. The BBC are running trailers for this programme showing how much BG earns every hour (squllion dollars)

I think you'll find every single 'normal' dictionary word (and its plural) as well as every 3 letter combinations has been registered on the .com, .net and .org domains. If you find any that haven't been registered then let me know!
