Re:How the Quest is going
I happened upon this nifty tool a few weeks ago: antennaweb.org
If you live in the US, enter your address and zip code, and it'll fetch a list of stations and channels that you should be able to receive, with their compass orientation, status, and even a street level map with the compass orientations as well. VERY nifty.
I'm sure it would help those who need to use directional antanneas to get everything setup easy(ier). -
Re:Go buy a ordinary TVThat article is over 18 months old. HDTV is available in most major markets in the US. Try the AVS Forums Local HDTV and Reception Forum for information on HDTV availability where you live. Also check out AVS Forums HDTV Programming forum for information on which shows are available in HDTV.
The HDTV FAQ should also come in handy. And also check out Antenna Web for further information on HDTV reception.

Unbelieveable!
To think, wireless HDTV! That would be like - like getting HDTV over the air! You would just need an antenna, maybe a fancy converter box. Who could think it possible? Wouldn't it be cool if they could do multiple channels at the same time? *sigh* Jeff
