Re:Cy me a River
Is there any way to get your spotify tunes in your car without a smartphone?
There is this: http://www.applian.com/replay-music/ . I use that for exactly same purpose, works great. Converting Spotify playlists this way is as easy as any other method of getting music to your car. An as legal (at least where I live).
In addition to smartphone line og FM connectors to car stereo.

Re:Who wants net neutrality NOW?
This guy suggests that it's pretty simple to get around, though if it were that easy, you'd think there'd be a tool out there that would implement that already. And I don't see any tools available.
Does Hulu use RTMPE and/or SWF-Verification? If so, apparently the only way is to use ye olde screen-grabbing trick, suck as it may.

Re:Some companies seem to get it...
Is this flaw in the Amazon setup already fixed?
http://www.applian.com/replay-media-catcher/support/faq.phpApplian says replay media catcher can no longer record on-demand streams from amazon.com

Some companies seem to get it...
On a related note, no doubt the maker of Replay Media Catcher, Applian, has seen a bump in both sales, and online warez activity. Their solution to combatting the latter?

Umm, while researching the information in this article... *cough*... I discovered this. It shows up very highly on google.
In my opinion, this is a truly insightful move by Applian. It appeals to the vast majority of minor-league pirate types who really just don't want to pay for something (probably less appealing to the types of people who believe everything should be free)... people who are much less likely to value their privacy a highly as many of us here on Slashdot do. I say, bravo Applian. -
OK, you can rip the streams with. . .

.Replay music. http://www.applian.com/replay-music/index.php But doing so would be wrong, so don't do it. Ever. -
Re:Any predictions...
Just capture the raw stream, there's a directshow filter around to play back FLV streams with a regular media player in Windows. Linux I couldn't speak for.
Or quick googling says there's software out there that can record Flash streams already. -

If you are afflicted with Windows on any of your machines, give Replay Radio a look. I played with it briefly a while back, and think it does what you are looking for.
