    The best plugs are made of medical grade silicone.

    Quite right. I suggest one of these to plug your hole and make it water-tight. Don't worry if it doesn't fit at first -- just a little stretching and you'll be set!

    Actually, I know that one dildo manufacturer already uses 3d printing in their R&D. Although the final product is cast in silicone, the prototyping was done with 3d printing. An American company.
