    Thin H Line is almost always ranked in the top 10 comics on Big Panda. I remember reading TPLIF a while ago, but haven't looked at it in a while... too "angsty" for my tastes.

    I must agree SinFest is an excellent independent web strip. The art is excellent and the writing is great - If it whets your appetite for more independent webcomics check out BigPanda or both excellent sources of online comic goodness that you wont find in your daily paper (and who wants to get ink all over their fingers anyhow).

    Try BigPanda.net for a shifting list of almost all independent web-comics.. and if you want to customize a page to view some of your favorites try Mycomix.Toonscape.com.. -They have permission from a lot of online cartoonists (independent) to post strips.. including PopeAlien.Comics

    Heh... I wish the "mainstream" publishers even knew webcomics existed. There's a lot of lucrative material out there, being pumped out by independent artists who are doing it just for the love of their work. Certainly your examples are among them; some more can be found here, and maybe even here.

    Now, I'm as much a fan of Illiad's "selling-out" as the next guy, but this could be the start of something good. If UF can help support the other quality comics out there, then everybody wins.

    Or he can hoarde his vast fortunes to himself, and continue to give UF Media a bad name. ;-)

    This is just too cool. Most Net Cartoonists will post any fan art sent in to them, but this is so much more amussing. The net has been nothing but good for cartoons in general, and if you don't belive it try Big Panda for some sugestions.
    Well, back to The Bench I can't wait to get started!
