Um...how is this better than AirTunes/PandoraJam?
What am I missing here?
Ok, I run wifi via an Airport Extreme and Optimum Boost (30mbps down, $10 a month extra.)
I have four Airport Expresses with AirTunes and PandoraJam sending either "radio" (AirTunes) or Pandora to each Express, each hooked up to its own stereo/wireless speakers.
I can send different content to each Express, which I don't think a Roku/Grace device can do. So what's the advantage? Serious question, not being rhetorical....

Re:Why'd they leave out internet streams and XM?One guess: cost. Adding a satellite radio tuner would add a considerable amount of cost to the unit. I imagine the price would easily double.
As for streamed broadcasts, this would be a feature of the radioSHARK software, not the hardware. I think Griffin is lucky their software runs at all at this point, nevermind having the ability to grab internet streams. I imagine that feature will be implemented later in the Mac software using Applescript and iTunes since iTunes already streams internet broadcasts. I'm not holding my breath. I would recommend Mac users get RadioLover for the timed recording of internet broadcasts.
At this point their software is very buggy and hastily assembled, IMO.

iRecordMusic is somthing very similar for the Mac, and it integrates well with iTunes.. I don't work for theese folks, but I did buy the software, and it 'Does What It Says On The Tin," so to speak.

Re:Up next, shorten your time with timestretching!
For Mac OSX, I am the author of iRecordMusic (aka RAW). If you want to cram even MORE into your life, you can record multiple streams of content, be it Real, Win, MP3, QT, etc. at the same time! Check it out here: RAW LINK. The software works like a web browser - a web page with audio content can be recorded with a simple click.
