Re:Huh? Illegal?
"I don't dispute that it is a war crime... but it still might be worth doing, if it really got the entire leadership in one shot...
.."Oh dear there's that lack of basic military intelligence again. These are not rigid hierarchies. Killing the leaders does not stop the rest, it often makes them worse. They expect the US to try to assassinate their leaders. Also as I pointed out above the US's current attacks on the Taliban are actually helping ISIS to infiltrate them and take over.. That will only make things worse. - The right hand panel of this cartoon sums it up nicely - http://www.cagle.com/2015/11/t...

I made this while you were playing FarmVilleI saw this great art car once, it had an immense amount of detail and was huge. There was not much clear space on it except in an area about 6"x8" that had a sign in the middle that said, "I made this while you were watching TV." I've been thinking of updating the saying to "I made this while you were $^&*ing with FarmVille". FWIW, I built a Snail art car instead of watching TV of frobbing with Farmville. Now, if I could only get away from Slashdot . . .
See also this Good Samaritan Cartoon:
Guy in street, prone man at his feet:
"Oh, Great, as if I have the time or inclination to help a dying homeless man"
Same guy in front of computer:
" What's this?!! Sally needs a bag of fertilizer for her FarmVille Farm? I better get right on it." -
Re:Look on the bright side...
No need to swap republican/democrat. There's been at least one study done that shows that democratic presidents are more fiscally responsible. I think this editorial comic actually sums it up quite nicely (08/01/08)

Re:*scratches head*
"Seriously speaking, what percentage of parents are terrified of social networking sites these days?"
Plenty, if they read newspapers. Here's some trolling by Combs, published in my local paper.

How would _you_ mod that as a slashdot moderator? Me: -1 Troll, -1 Flamebait -1 Stupid (if only) -1 overrated (so it can't be taken away in metamoderation).

Re:This is the entire problem with "cheap combat"
How does anyone, even with patriotism levels, identify who the enemy is?

You forgot www.cagle.com
You forgot Cagle.
One of the best and most addictive cartoon site
I have ever seen. -
Wow - political cartoonists that have a clue! From Milt Priggee at www.priggee.com: From Kevin Siers at The Charlotte Observer
I found these going thru the political cartoons at Cagle. Of course the vast majority of them blame the parents, the movies, the music, etc.
I've e-mailed them BOTH to express my appreciation.
