Re:Well..
Hey, can you please get some more educational institutions off of Windows 2000?
;)
In all seriousness, while I'm a huge fan of deploying Linux in educational environments (especially Ubuntu desktops and departmental servers), I'd give just about anything to see IE6 finally die in fire. I run an educational resources site, and about 10% of my visitors are still using it. -
Re:Bubby? Is that you?
My idea of the what the rights should be applies to the Germans who are able to see the copies I posted myself:
Walter Sedlmayr (German translation)
Walter Sedlmayr (English)
There's nothing the Germans authorities can do about it, either. -

Minor correction: here's the English version:

Re:Get your lawyers ready /.
I agree with your position that it's wrong. I've posted both the English version and a German translation of the Wikipedia article in question to a site I operate:
Walter Sedlmayr (English)
Walter Sedlmayr (German translation)
As I'm in the United States, and we provide strong protections for free speech unless the material in question is provably inaccurate and causes damage to a person, I'd love to see German authorities or the individuals complaining about their "rights" getting violated do anything about it. -

Re:Saddams' dead Iraqis vs US/UK dead Iraquis.
Thank you for the most insightful post I've read on Slashdot in at least five years. By the way, I'm looking for a full-time job; I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look at my resume and offer whatever feedback (off board, i.e. via email) you deem appropriate regarding my job search. Thanks

Re:Summary is hopelessly wrong...
When you get a chance, feel free to email me and keep in touch. Be well.

I'd like some more information.
Please forward me detailed information on this event. I happen to maintain an educational resources website for teachers, and I'm sure my community would love to hear about your teacher's actions. Frankly, this is ridiculous. The only time in my life I've ever been asked to destroy notes was when they were taken on classified military topics (I'm active duty Navy). I look forward to hearing from you.

As requested.
This ought to do it: This car is not what you think it is.

I've got a solution.
We just need to create a pony-censoring plugin for Firefox and Internet Explorer. Here's how it would work.
