My thoughts on the issue
I debated this very same issue, you can read my thought on it at my homepage:

Get A Load Of This...
...I was just out at Golden Corral and happened to notice the text on the bottom of my restaurant-issued, plastic, Coca Cola-branded, cup as I was walking down the hall. I turned it over because I wasn't sure what I was reading - was correct. It says, "For Single Use Only" on the bottom. WTF?! Plastic is good for 1,000 years and I'll refill it as many times as possible to make sure Mother Earth benefits from delayed disposal. The only reason that "warning" is there is so I would have to buy another drink or another bottle of water or even another ink cartridge to generate more revenue for the company. If they can't sell containers, they obviously can't sell ink, and you don't see me refilling my refills, now do ya?

Re:I'll be doing it in 25 hours
Bring a camcorder and lots of your favorite carbonated beverage... trips like this are worth prime advertising slots on the tube nowadays...

If only I had this the other night...
... I could have made a fortune from the recording.
After the spending the entire night trying to coerce our new Dell linux server into submissions, and ODing on coca-cola, cigarettes and espresso, I guess that my brain waves could have been recorded for a quality high-energy e'd-up rave! -
Re:The problem...
Go to who? Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc, the Atlanta-based company that is "the world's largest bottler of liquid, nonalcoholic refreshment" with $14 billion dollars of net revenue/year, (stock symbol CCE)
.. or does it go to Cola Cola Company, the huge Atlanta-based company that is the largest manufacturer, distributor and marketer of soft drink concentrates and syrups in the world (along with a hefty portfolio of other drinks) @ $20 Billion/year net revenue (stock symbol KO)?
These are two distinct companies with different owners. In this case, they're friends... but not all companies with the same trademark (possible if used in different fields) are, though. -
Origin of Code Red?
Just curious about the "highly caffinated soft-drink" popular among programmers that Code Red was named after. My first guess was Coca-Cola but someone also pointed out that it could be Red Bull. I'll stay with my original guess, due to the red cans and abundance of Coke wherever I see programmers. The only question is whether it qualifies as highly caffinated. On the other hand, Red Bull has its merit as well, being, well, "Red." However, I do debate whether or not Red Bull is highly popular, since its expensive as hell, and alot of the programmers I've met couldn't afford Red Bull on their non-existant saleries Anyway
... I'd be anxious to hear what insight the slashdot community can give on this matter. *looks around table*
damn that reminds me ... i gotta throw away some of these coke cans ;) -
Tastes gross
Whoa, Red Bull is nasty anyway. Tastes like rotting apple cider if you ask me. At my office, we prefer the American programmer's standby, shiny red cans of Coca-Cola!
