Footage From Star Wars: Episode III
An anonymous reader writes "Leaked footage of Star Wars: Episode III is now online! Included in the 2-minute and 37-second clip are shots of the Australian set, George Lucas behind the camera, Chewbacca looking cooler than ever, and even a quick peek at Hayden Christensen (in Vader get-up!) and Ewan McGregor duking it out, all being played to AC/DC's 'Back in Black.' I've downloaded it, but am undecided as if I should watch it or not, lest it spoil something (here's hoping that it's good)." -
AI Movie Promo
An AC sends: "I recently stumbled upon one of the coolest movie promotions I have ever seen. If you download the trailer and notice the second frame of credits is "Sentient Machine Therapist-Jeanine Salla". Searching for this on google.com leads to a plethora of pages seemingly outlining some fictional murder mystery having to do with robots. For those of you who are too lazy to follow this trail yourselves, Ain't It Cool News has a list of most of the links." The trend of seeding the web with fictitious pages about your movie/product/whatever appears to be catching on, and this movie has really gone off the deep end. Was X-Men the first one to do this? -

Star Wars Trailer #2
Zibalatz writes "The second Star Wars trailer will be appearing at Countdown to Star Wars today at around 4:00pm. There's more information on the second trailer and its non-web appearances on the site. I would strongly recommend anyone who can provide a mirror to do so. " Update: 03/09 08:24 by CT : Delayed. Isn't that always the case? -

Whatever that means. Shave sent in a link to Jerry Pournelle's web site a where he talks about Refund Day and Slashdot (and neither in particularly cheerful terms) And finally, for the gamers out there, mgix sent a link to a N64 Emulator that can do Zelda64. That game has been a staple in the Geekhouse for weeks now. Addictive. -

Vanity Fair pictures are now online
Lincoln writes "We've got someone to get us a First Bound copy of Vanity Fair - the pictures are now online!" That didn't take very long at all. The other major news is that Lucas has been saying that there probably won't be an epilogue trilogy as originally planned. -
