Corporations have been screwing their costumers and paying your rapresentatives to screw your interests as citizens. Either those people presenting this bill are "fired" out of the congress either the USA have not a democracy because democracy implies that the interests of the citizens are represented by their elected politicians. These one obviously do not represent any voter who is not a CEO or something.     The Democrats are in control of the Senate and House. They are the ones that set the day-to-day agenda, have majorities on subcommittees and can block voting on bills. The Republicans can only block a vote by filibustering. Read the following articles and you will see exactly why I blame the Democrats for blocking the bill: Because the Democrats are blocking the bill. It isn't up for debate; it is a verifiable fact.

    The House leaders are deliberately blocking amendments, backed by a majority vote, that would guarantee a permanent ban on Internet taxes. This is not in tune with the strive for bi-partisanship that Nancy Pelosi promised us as a House Leader - this is procedural abuse!

    This is not true. Even the linked article seems to refute this. There's in fact overwhelming support for amending a bill to make the ban permanent. How this factual error got past the editors is beyond me.

    So you can do the math as you see employees from the republicans and employees* from the democrats are both taking money from the entertainment industry, so that your right to vote is basically screw up. You can choose right or left, you're probably gonna choose someone paid by them.

    Copyright legislation is no longer current with modern society? Agreeable. Election and Lobbying systems are no longer effective to defend the people? PROVEN.

    *Employees = Deputies, Senators, the President: you elect them and pay their wages, why do they get money from a industry that makes a profit out of you?

    Bush is an insane tyrant, a rogue regime that's turned everything it's touched into new danger. He dropped the ABM Treaty that Nixon had signed with the Soviets which kept the Cold War from spiraling out of control. Because Star Wars "missile defense" was the main Bush "defense" agenda: create as many missile threats as possible to "market" Star Wars to a terrorized American public.

    Just as Bush didn't let the Qaeda's Afghanistan base of attacks stop him from invading Iraq instead, the foreign policy his cronies wanted despite the real world, Bush is roaring right ahead with Star Wars. He's goading Russia into a new nuke race because it's good for him, right according to their original plans that he never abandons. Just like Cheney tried to provoke an armageddon with China over Taiwan. Hell, even Bush Sr's plans for NASA to deliver Star Wars are now in full swing, with the old Star Wars hand Griffin running the show, and a new National Space Policy of militarizing space by NASA for the Pentagon and CIA.

    These insane tyrants must be stopped. IMPEACH THEM NOW. Today. Before it's too late.
