    If you don't mind Free-as-in-Beer, try izArc. It's free, it has a comparable interface to WinZip/Rar/Ace, and it supports almost every format under the sun including 7zip, bzip2, and iso.

    IzArc opens the whole bunch and can replace both the WinZip and the 7-Zip utilities.

    IZArc is free, supports a bucketload of formats, (many more than StuffIt Expander, mentioned by another poster.) Their product information page says: IZArc is the most complete archive utility available today, and they are absolutely right. If you need to work with archives, IZArc is the best you can possibly get, be it free or commercial. Worth checking out.

    Yeah, if you're a Mac user (even on Windows). The rest of us us IZarc.

    I use IZArc, its gret, does both RAR's and Zips, and it's free.

    Maymounkov in Bulgarian means Monkey's (of Monkey) and is pronounced My-moon-khov.

    I am not monkeying around, look it up for yourself in the English-Bulgarian Dictionary.

    If you are going to make that claim, at least say it is ONLY free as in BEER and NOT FREEDOM.

    IZArc's Distribution License right from their own website:

    "IZArc may be freely distributed on the Internet, on CD/DVDs or on disks, provided that the original files inside the distribution file are not modified, the program is not bundled with illegal or offensive material.. Feel free to contact us at anytime regarding the distribution of IZArc."

    I'll take 7-Zip free (as in FREEDOM) program instead, thanks.

    I don't like 7-Zip, there are some compatibility issues I've found with encrypted Zip files, and the user interface is really clunky.

    Instead, use the other free alternative, IZArc. It handles everything, plus 7-Zip, actually. The user interface is very clean and contains at least as many features as WinZip. Gets a full recommendation from me!

    I recently tripped over a very interesting 7z and RAR compatible archiving package that also does HEAPS of other formats: IZArc. It's free. I'm going to test it up against 7zip some time soon. I found it because I needed to unarc something.

    These are in no particular order, and many are repeats from earlier in the discussion. I went through much of Palmgear when I first got my Visor Deluxe and thought the enclosed list of companies made some pretty cool products.
