Re:Suggestion
Ah, but if that's the case, then you're going to run into problems all over again...

Re:not surprisinghttp://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Linus_Torvalds
"Making Linux GPL'd was definitely the best thing I ever did."
http://hotwired.goo.ne.jp/matrix/9709/5_linus.html I'm generally a very pragmatic person: that which works, works. When it comes to software, I _much_ prefer free software, because I have very seldom seen a program that has worked well enough for my needs, and having sources available can be a life-saver.
So in that sense I am an avid promoter of free software, and GPL'd stuff in particular (because once it's GPL'd I _know_ it's going to stay free, so I don't have to worry about future releases).
In other words, Linus likes the GPL for the actual reasons that it is a good license, not out of any kind of narrow-minded 'software ideology'. -

Mazda RX-8 gas/hydrogen car
Here are some pics of the Mazda RX-8 that has two tanks: the hydrogen can be filled on one side, and regular gas on the other side.

Same goes for Japan
Yahoo Japan and goo provide far better searching of Japanese sites than Google. As someone used to using nothing but google for English and French language searches, I find it pretty shocking just how bad google's Japanese results are.

Re:America has a choice..
And you sir, receive the "Order of the Unreasonable Faith in the Internet as the Fount of all Knowledge *".
I've read a few books about the history of zero, and it's not obvious, and neither can it's origin be traced to any one people. We can probably assume that the author of *an entire book* about the history of zero might have used a few other sources than Google and his own imagination, and will probably have cited them in a bibliography. Even if this is not the case, it's nice to have a reference to another source, and you can always look for other books on the subject if that one does not satisfy you...
* Have a look at the recent wiki editors comments. He removed bits he did not believe were true using another source on the internet as his justification. I'm not saying he's wrong, but still...
