    Yes! And you can get some of it today! go to This site and get your SFU system today. I reccomend the USP compact or the P2000 subcompact, but for fear purposes nothing beats a G3/SG1

    Many american soldiers also like the AK47 more than their M16s because it has more "stopping power" at close range (particularly when the enemy does not have body armor). And when you are fighting street corner, to street corner, you don't need the increased accuracy of the M-16, you need to make sure who you shoot goes down, and stays down.

    Interesting. Maybe for close-up work, our guys should get these...

    It's just a prototype. An out of date one at that. The whole plan for the OICW has been changed.

    The two main components have been split off. The rifle part became the XM-8 and might come into use soon. The smart-grenade launcer part is now the XM-25. With a 25mm shell instead of the 20mm of the old design.

    The M16A1 got most of it's bad rep from a switch to ball powder which fouled the unlined chamber. The M16A2, M16A4 and other derivatives use a chrome lined firing chamber which reduces fouling somewhat. The new XM8 is supposed to improve things further by shortening the gas tube and prevent fouling within the reciever. Changes to the ejector and reciever mechanism should prevent debris from jamming the mechanism, but this will be determined after field trials.

    A Tec 9 is a semi automatic pistol designed to look like a submachine gun, and due to Intratec's quality, it's more likely to injure the shooter than the target.

    For a real submachine gun, I suggest looking elsewhere.
