Porn or non-porn
Porn or non-porn?
For porn, I'm a voracious reader (online at Literotica). For non-porn, I'm also a voracious reader, going through several SF or fantasy books a month, and an occasional textbook. -
A related story
Just the headline reminded me of a story I read a couple of years ago. That site needs registration but he also posted it on a site which does not. 99 First Dates. Hilarious.
Warning - Adult Content if you worry about that kind of thing.

Like these are the only places to buy ebooks
I just did a quick search for "erotica ebook store" and came up with:
www.ellorascave.com
www.ebook-eros.com
www.sirenpublishing.com
and of course, literotica.com is still free.
If Amazon, B&N and friends don't want that business, I'm sure these folks and others will be happy to have the extra customers. The nice thing about shopping on the internet is that all the stores are equally close. -
Re:Misplaced outrage
It's not a store, but literotica.com has more literary erotica than any book store I've ever seen. Their mobile site is better IMHO if you just want to browse stories.

Re:The best internet filter
Reluctant is the right word. This is what your kid might be doing:
1) Turn off the showing of images in the browser.
2) Google for e.g. adult stories
3) start reading e.g. this (NSFW !!!!) and with the search, you find much more.Hey, perhaps you run Linux, so he can use lynx or any other text based browser, so you, on the couch, won't be able to read it.
;-)I used to get around the age restrictions at the movies by buying the book. When I later saw the move, I can tell you that the book was WAY worse (or perhaps just my imagination).
That said, you are doing the right thing: parenting.

Re:Sounds like extortion
Never heard of red tube. My big porn days were back in the 80's and I grew up with dirty books so the stories appealed to me more than the X-rated films.

Re:So much for...
Just don't write fiction about child molestation and you're fine, even the US has its limits on free speech.
Wait, what? As far as I'm aware, writing a fictional story is not illegal in the US regardless of subject.
Otherwise, the government has been ignoring blatant lawbreaking as seen here;

Re:alt.stories.erotica
Despite having the technology to get all the pictures and video I want... late at night, I bring up my Literotica bookmark almost exclusively. Video just doesn't cut it for me.

Re:alt.stories.erotica
http://storiesonline.net/ (Free registration required, but I've never received spam on the throwaway email address I generated 5 years ago or so. There are some *really* good novels to be found, check out Al Steiner under Authors for example. And if you're into heavy fun, check out Samantha K.)

Re:Transporter?
unfortunately, if she has the rabbit, it is probably more than "good enough" (NSFW).
