    I can only think of one music video I'd like to see again, and that would be of "Bop 'Til You Drop" by Rick Springfield, from the album "Hard To Hold" (1984). Not for any love of the song but rather that I'm remembering the video correctly: the lyrics don't seem to call for a depiction of slave-drivers whipping chained aliens to do mining to be freed and rise up against their masters by a rock star.

    Good one. It's better than mine - it reminds me of the Dream Police. Now I've got that tune in my head and I won't be able to get it out.

    I guess I now have a dilemma as well - am I the tought thief for having the tune in my mind, or is Cheap Trick the culprit for robbing my brain cycles?

    The reason I used mysql instead of postgres, last time I made that choice (6+ years ago) was because of the speed. Windows support didn't matter at all, only the blinding speed of MySql compared to old Postgres (http://mysql.matrix.com.br/information/benchmarks .html). My understanding is the Postgres has gotten much faster: Are there more recent benchmarks around?

    Actually those are lyrics from "Me and Bobby McGee" by Kris Kristopherson. It was first popularized by Roger Miller in 1969 (#12 Country hit) and later appeared on the 1971 album "Pearl" by Janis Joplin

    I'm not sure if its strong enough for what you're looking for, but try S-Talk. Its a UNIX talk compatible client with encryption added on. Also, if you look around, I think there are ICQ add ons that will do what you're looking for (but I don't know of any off of the top of my head).
