Re:Is this different from sport?
Honestly sir, you sound already hooked. Please get help. http://www.na.org/ is a good start.
It's no different than being hooked on crack. It "clears the cobwebs" and makes you more "observant".
Anyone reading this and taking it seriously, ADHD drugs work by exciting a slower, out of sync bit of the brain so it can speed up and coordinate (frontal lobe dysfunction and reduced capacity, with a correlation to reduced size, of the left sided pre-frontal cortex) . If you use these drugs and don't have these complications, it is speeding up a bit of your brain that was already doing fine, throwing it out of sync. This obviously isn't better. It is better like you bowling better when you have a few beers. It isn't the beers, and really, you aren't doing better. You just feel better doing it, which may attribute to being more successful when initially abusing the drug. -
Re:Wha?
Sigh.
narCONon is a $cientology front group. It has repeatedly been found either ineffective or downright harmful.
Narcotics Anonymous, on the other hand, is an actual treatment program, the name of which $cientologists deliberately mirrored in their scam setup in order to confuse people into thinking narCONon is somehow legitimate.
Which is modeled after AA, which, in turn, has its origins in the Oxford Group, which was based on Christianity. Meetings start with prayers, members are encouraged to accept that only a "higher power" can save them from alcohol, and the meetings are frequently held in churches (sometimes called Christian AA groups).
It has also been found to be ineffective, offering no increase in success over other methods of trying to "quit.":
The intentions of AA/NA might be slightly better than narCONon, but they are no more effective.

Re:Good
Arguably, WinMo is a better product [than the iPhone] as it stands in the 6.5 implementation.
Dude, you really, really need this. You don't have to suffer anymore.

Re:I don't think so.
No your not, that is the point, I am the one paying for it when you can't handle your addiction, or when you breed a bunch of kids so you can get more money on welfare after you lose your job.
Do you have any statistics to back that up? Because Narcotics Anonymous does not accept money from outside of its membership. The leading cause of people going on welfare is divorce. And I have no idea why think pot usage will lead to me losing my job. How many people reading this have ever called in sick with a 40oz flu? I've never ever missed work because I smoked too many joints the night before. Ever.
You are the victim of a somewhat popular misconception. The statistics tell a very different story. -
Re:Outer limits
The computer industry is rife with substance abuse from Overeating to Alchohol to "Hardcore" Drugs. A high standard of living compounded with a lot of single guys equals addictive personalities will be able to supplament their addictions well into maturity, to their detriment socially and for obvious health reasons.

Re:Well, no kidding...It seems
There is no legitimate group named narcanon.
The legitimate group is Narcotics Anonymous.
There's a reason why we say NarCONon.
$cientology is just trying to get "recognition" by having a name that sounds like legitimate groups like Al-Anon,
