Re: BOHICA
> They're not the ones on university campuses or society trying to shut down speech
Not only are they. They are the majority of such incidents. There just isn't an entire aggrievement movement dedicated to distorting even the most minor incidents into outrage bait. That's because conservative censorship is so everyday that people expect it as the normal course of events.
Here's just one recent example:

Re: So 60 Minutes...
Imagine, a judge that thinks he's bound to rule based on what the law says and not on how he feels about it... Judges like him will end this kind of political prosecution....
Nope, as Justice Alito demonstrated in his joining Roberts' dissent on Arizona State Legislature v. Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission, Judges will gladly betray their own legal principles in a fit of pique, solely to vent their rage. He couldn't even man up enough to write a separate concurrent opinion, but wussied out. Thomas has been an even worse violator, and Scalka took the cake in Obergefeld v. Hodges. His own principles would have required him to enforce the full faith and credit clause. Naturally, he pulled an opinion that was worse than Taney's out of his ass.
If Gorsuch does anything, it will be to endorse another form of persecution, such as the firing of a reporter for WUTC in Tennessee because the Senator in question didn't notice her reporting badge and recording gear.
Feel free to take a stand on that one BEFORE you accuse anyone of hypocrisy. But get the facts first. Including the law.

The reason isn't so obvious
Look into which guitar company contributes to which candidate(s) and which party.
And then consider this happened two years ago, and no cases were filed from that incident, nor were the confiscated materials returned

Not too surprising.
I live in Nashville, and I'm not too surprised. The same legislature is also considering a ban on dildos. So much for freedom. I don't even know why we're paying these people, to be honest. All they're doing is taking away our rights. Things like this really make me want to use my second amendment rights to protect my first amendment rights. If it keeps going the way it's going, such a scenario might just play out. I don't think the People are going to sit by and twiddle their thumbs while the government screws them over again and again and again.

Buy Krispy Kreme instead
Wish I had a fistful of Krispy Kreme instead of my worthless tech stocks. Ask yourself which people are going to be using more of, doughnuts or Mandrake, and invest accordingly.
