Re:Will it really matter ?
Who cares? Adblock is primarily used to speed up the load process. But NOTHING loads slow in Chrome. I use it exclusively. So far, only three problems: http://www.nylottery.org/index.php loads badly, gotomypc and citrix access to work have issues. Other than than, I've completely replaced IE and FF at home.

Re:5th
Let's say that you really could tell the future. Wouldn't there be an easier way to get a couple million dollars?

Settlement and Release agreement
The one for this claim is probably covered by a very thick NDA, but generally as part of any settlement, the written agreement is a contract that offers the plaintiff money in consideration for an agreement to discharge any and all claims [arising out of these circumstances] against the defendant now and forever.
As far as I know, in the absence of fraud, duress or undue influence, he can win the lottery tomorrow, end up a million dollars richer, and there's nothing the RIAA could do about it. -
Re:I'd hate to pay the tax if I won
Actaully, NY state had a scratch off lottery game "Tax Free Million".. They would pay the federal/state tax for you, so you actaully got $1 million cash. I checked their website, but they don't seem to have it anymore... A quick google shows other states have it too.

NY Lottery Picks 9-1-1
In a strange quirk of fate, the daily number in Wednesday night's New York State Lottery was 9-1-1, a number that readily recalls the date of the Sept. 11 attack.
Lottery officials won't know until Thursday how many people played the number or how much money they will collect, said spokeswoman Carolyn Hapeman.
Hapeman said "it is not that unusual" for lottery players to select the day's date for their number.
Hapeman said Wednesday's drawing was on the up and up. "These particular numbers were picked in the same random fashion as all our drawings," she said.
