They have some of the best animation studios around. If any of you ever watched Kill Bill, the animated scene with O-ren in it was done by Production I.G. Top notch stuff there.

The English-speaking employee at Production I.G, Justin Leach, who does 3-D design, has very interesting journal describing his 2 years in Japan. It's so exciting that we can look inside the production process and everyday Japan.

I agree with one of the other posters that Ghost in the Shell would be more diserving of a remake all the same....
