As I got older, I gamed a lot less due to busy life and no energy. These days, I use the Internet to read, see, socialize, etc.

I still do play games once in a while like in IRC with Rbot's turn based card games (e.g., Uno and Junkyard). I did briefly play John Romero's classic DOOM maps and those were fun like old times.

Ditto. I still use it for chat with geeky/nerdy friends, play text based games hosted by Rbot (other cool features as well), etc. :)

I know. I lost my 55 days of Debian stable's uptime to fix my leap second bug with my Rbot (hogged CPU). :(

I think my Debian stable box's latest rbot build's launch_here.rb was acting weird from the leap bug because the CPU was going high even when idled. I rebooted after 55 days of uptime and it was fine.

You can still play games in IRC like Rbot's UNO which is addicting!

I have tried the chat bots from SeeBorg, Howie, and Rbot but they're not that good. The first two are very old and outdated. Rbot isn't really a true AI chatbot. Are there any others to try?

That's what I use my IRC bot for. And it has the advantage of being useful to other people in the channel too.
