Re:The hacking isn't nearly as troubling...
Unfortunately, no, not everything is Russian bots, we have more than enough home grown crazies, traitors, collaborators, and enablers to go around even without their help. Russian bots are a force multiplier for America's self destructive movement despite that.
#Walkaway is mostly fake and it is one of the major pushes that the Russian bots have been making lately. Plenty of useful idiots to aid them and provide a fertile ground, however. The right-wingers are clueless if they think this is a major movement on the left, I'd dismiss and ignore it except that I fear this sort of nonsense will be used to lay the groundwork for further dismantling of democracy. Creating alternative realities is a tried and true method for justifying and excusing all sorts of malfeasance. -

Re:Queue apologists in 5... 4... 3... 2...
Yup. Actually, one of the most substantial pieces of Internet Research Agency work this week has been to push the idea that Browder's visa revocation was "automation gone bad." Either they're getting predictable, or we're getting a bit better at spotting it.
Right now they're pushing a hash tag called "thingsitrustmorethancnn". Pathetic, really.

Re:Non issue. Will be blown up out of proportion.
If it is not enough to show that Russia stole the elections it is enough to demonstrate their evil intent. Now the official evil intent includes the very general 'sowing discord'. That means that they support activism of all sorts and activism becomes suspect. It means that groups like Black Lives Matters are reduced to russian stooges, the way Wikileaks was reduced to a stooge, the way a lot of alternative sites now are reduced to stooges that have to be slammed down (Google and propaganda sites like http://dashboard.securingdemoc... and PropOrNot are working on that).
It's an extremely damaging evolution, and it's a bandwagon that is mostly fueled by baseless claims that get attention when they're launched and then debunked quickly without much attention. From all the debunked stories I've read I still need proof that Russia is responsible for any of it. But the claims come so quickly it's impossible to keep track of them. I've already seen claims linking Russia to the Las Vegas shooting.
You can also see the success on this site, which already full of people trying hard to roll their eyes and mutter knowingly something about russian shills.
I think it's horrible. The return of mccarthyism.

Re:I hope he pounds the shit out of google
LOL
this autistic faggot is whining harder than North Korea because he couldn't post his retarded fanfic on company forums and you wanna drop "PC snowflake"? he's already been caught red-handed lying about having a Ph.D. he flunked out... looks like Google has even more grounds to flush his ass down the toilet. rubrigade will be needling me on this point, but that's fine, he still demonstrably lied about his credentials, and no amount of screeching about the media will change that fact.
check out the Russian disinfo stats for the day, see that "marchongoogle" is being boosted by the pizzagaters, check Slashdot, yup, getting hit harder than ever before with the usual suspects posting the same tripe. you can try to ride the techie-pragmatist waves and spitball "muh vaguely scientific articles" but anybody with a critical impulse, or indeed, even a pulse, is increasingly able to see through this bullshit Ivan's pushing.

Re: They wont get in trouble
Funny how this guy is always either propping up Russians or alt-right talking points, along with bogaboga and that Kendall dude.
Anyway, check this site out to watch for interesting correlations.

Re:Good luck California!
What a strange hiccup of literal Russian propaganda! What a coincidence!
SuperKendall, along with bogaboga, two great vatnik trolls to watch out. I'm noticing a lot of low UID accounts got bought maybe a few years back, or else had strokes and started spewing RT/Kremlin talking points? Very similar to the astroturfing phenomenon that's managed to somehow make reddit less usable and even more shitty.
