Puss in Boots

I saw Shrek 2 last night and was shocked at the quality of animation. The textures, facial expressions, and especially lighting were all amazing. Certain scenes or shots were a little less impressive, but even in looking at the first five minutes (Shrek2.com} you can see the improvements they've made since the last one. It's also worth noting that there were huge improvements between Toy Story and Toy Story 2.

I was under the impression that it was three movies after Nemo, but I could be wrong.

Disney and Pixar made two deals. One was for Toy Story and one or more sequels; the other was for five new franchises. These turned out to be 1. A Bug's Life, 2. Monsters Inc., 3. some fishy movie that tries to make everybody forget about Winsor McCay's famous comic strip, and the forthcoming films 4. The Incredibles and 5. Cars.

(couldn't remember if Shrek was a Pixar film).
