    Apple To Offer iPad Upgrade To Windows.

    Apple has announced that, while iPad users won't be able to run OSX, they will be able to run Windows 7 Mobile. The cost of the upgrade wasn't available, but a source inside Apple said that it would be "reasonably priced for an Apple ... an extra $1,500 to $2,000."

    This may be the only way for iPad owners to run essential apps such as Youtube unless they want to stick with the new YouTube TEXTp ASCII-art display mode

    They should run slashdot through an aa filter - get rid of the buggy "Web 2.0" interface ... oh wait - they're going to announce that in the "mysterious future"!

    Apparently Youtube isn't the only one - Slashdot is finally killing off their buggy Web 2.0 interface and supporting real web standards. They'e waiting until tomorrow to announce it by first letting everyone overdose on the stupid flash "roulette chat".
