Boomers
Reminds me of the anime AD Police and Knight Sabers, from Bubblegum Crisis, that have to battle these "Boomers" that are worker androids that occasionally go berserk. They we developed using some sort of artificial muscle with strands of some super fiber. Could be that these super fibers are carbon nanotubes.
GO KNIGHT SABERS!

Re:The Raptor is all about dick size
Why? Because our technology sector has a fairly large interest in seeing Taiwan remain free from the mainland. Hit this and scroll all the way to the bottom. The j-12 isn't ready yet, but it will be in a few years. That might come sooner now that the Chinese are ramping up their internal semiconductor market. Don't get me wrong, I really don't want to fight the Chinese as that always seems to go badly for the other side, but if it comes down to it we need to make sure our toys are just as tough and mean as theirs.

Re:Yes, it's the same.
I'm afraid you are mistaken. Here is an interview with Akira Toriyama here.. He recalls inventing the design of the Super Saiyans, that is DBZ. Furthermore this quote should help clear things up, "a third TV series, independent of Toriyama's manga storyline, Dragon Ball GT, which started airing on Japanese TV right after the end of Dragon Ball Z." It is nothing new. There are more than a few web pages whcih discuss this issue. It has been said often(although not 100% sure how true it is) that Toriyama ran out of ideas after making Dragon Ball well the Dragon Ball part of the manga, and DBZ was about extending his ideas as long as possible through suspense.
I hope this clears things up. If not just web search more, there are more than enough web pages, many with unsubstantiated rumors but some are quite accurate. I assure you Toriyama did work on DBZ and didn't work on DBGT.
However I'm not an expert on the manga but I think from the interview that DB and DBZ are all from the Dragon Ball Manga and they just changed the show name but I'm not sure. But I do know that DBZ is based on a manga, because many web pages point out where the anime and manga differ for DBZ. This feat would be quite difficult to perform if DBZ was not based on the manga. -

Divx Lore 101 (for the Confused)- Divx the failed Circuit City pay-per-play disc scheme is not relevant to this conversation.
- Divx;-) (versions 3.xx) are a hacked Microsoft mpeg4 codec. Before Divx 4.xx it was the standard codec for DVD-based online copyright-infringement.
- OpenDivx (aka ProjectMayo) was an open-source project to make a video codec to replace divx3. This was never really able to compete with divx3 in its capabilities.
- Divx 4.xx came from OpenDivx code but is no longer open source. It is written by DivxNetworks and it is this that Fraunhofer is licensing. Despite not being open source it is now widely used; most say it is a better codec than divx 3.11 though it lacks one very slick tool - nandub - which some still claim is the method to use for the best encodes between the two codecs. Also, they don't use the smiley in the name as far as I know.
- XviD deserves a plug here. It's a new open-source mpeg4-compliant (though possibly not completely mpeg4-legal) codec based on opendivx which (developers promise) will be GPL'd as soon as the last few hundred lines of GPL-incompatible code are replaced. Despite being very new and "alpha," it's already competing with divx 4 in terms of quality of encodes. Source can be obtained at the above site; binaries (VfW) are here and elsewhere.
Anyway, so yeah, the submission was wrong on a few points, but we've got everything straight now, don't we?

Song lyricsThat line in there about sheltering kids too much reminds me of a few songs.
Metallica = Dyer's Eve
Marlyn Manson = Dogma
The idea that if you shelter a kid they will turn out well balenced is about a silly as people thinking that a utopia is acheivable. If utopia's existed then it would only take on person without the right balance of thorazine to destroy the hole civelization.

NSA (Never Saw Anything)
One of the things concerning the NSA's release of SE Linux is, in some instances, they complain that terrorists, and criminals are hindering their (the US Government) efforts to investigate, and or monitor crimes, and they go and release this distribution of Linux.
Think about that for a quick second with an open mind if you will, and look at exactly what was said in this articleCIA director George Tenet said individuals such as Osama bin Laden - the man alleged to have been behind the 1998 bombings of US embassies in East Africa - are using the internet to cloak communications within their organisations. "You recruit people on internet sites and you use encryption," Tenet said. "You move your operational planning and judgements over internet sites' use of encryption. You raise money."
If things are so bad for NSA officials to keep tabs on terrorists and the way they commit digital crimes in association with their acts, then why would they release an OS that could further help these terrorists hide/secure their data. Sure you can look at this post and claim its a conspiracy of some sort to point out these findings, but lets take a look at how many 1k bytes of code could be inserted throughout the SE Linux OS to have them somewhere down the line be combined in order for the NSA to open a backdoor of some sort.
Bin Laden inspires particular alarm in the US. National Security Agency chief Mike Hayden says his own organisation is "behind the curve in keeping up with the global telecommunications revolution", which bin Laden is able to exploit. Hayden blamed this gap for the US's failure to prevent the 1998 embassy attacks, which killed 224 people.
We all know about the OpenSource arguements and whether or not OpenSource solidifies security, the fact remains, no one has gone line for line on the NSA's code for SE Linux to determine whether or not they've done something shady to hide their underlying actions for creating this OS.
Now back to the OS in general, I would like to see a comparison between say SE Linux vs. OpenBSD, or SE Linux vs. TrustedBSD. Personally I would option for OpenBSD, as Trusted is an overlay for FreeBSD.
Again, one should wonder about the facts, the NSA claims people like Usama bin Laden and Fidel Castro are giving them headaches with technology, and yet they release something which could help them? Typical politics wouldn't you say. Hey, here's some thoughts to consider for NSA naming conventions this millenium.
