Political websites
It isn't just pornography that is blocked. What surprised me about the web-filtering at my work place was blocking of political sites of the far right, like The Occidental Observer Blog, The Occidental Quarterly Online, and Vdare.
Vdare isn't even that extreme. They are pretty mild in their criticism of Jewish power. Their main focus is on immigration and its harmfulness to our country.

Re:What a conveniently timed puff piece
Once upon a time, such people were shunned by the tribe and starved to death. Today, we have built infrastructures that enable these people to survive and thrive. In return, they ruin us.

Re:Whatever
You know, there's this theme that runs through some (I want to be very careful here) of the anti-Obama rhetoric that paints him as a creation of affirmative action, or the media or something like that. The common thread is that he does not have the ability to bring himself to where he is today, that somebody else must be orchestrating his career.

Re:Idocracy
Of course, we don't know where the wall is for intelligence - at some point the biological trade off of supporting a smarter brain just won't be worth it.
There are other factors too. There are some arguments that we've already reached that point.

Re:Idiocracy is classist bullshit
Class is not fixed, despite the gaming of the system by the rich.
Long story short: Idiocracy is classist bullshit that comforts rich wankers who desperately want to believe that they're rich because of some inherent superiority rather than opportunity and/or inheritance. Incipient speciation along class lines is ridiculous.

Re:Hats of for MIT
Only if you're not white, as even though whites are 70% of the US population, they only form 20% of the Harvard student body. So not much chance of getting in there.
