    Vistaer writes "After over five years in development, Team Lazarus has finally released their full remake of the classic 80's RPG "Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny". This remake is built as a total conversion for Dungeon Siege, and not only does it retain the original story, characters, and setting of Ultima V, but also adds many new systems and improvements to the Dungeon Siege engine including branching dialogues, day/night cycles, portraits for every character in the game and much much more. Weighing in at just over 500MB, this game could prove to be a delight to many CRPG fans."

Ultima V: Lazarus is a complete recreation of ORIGIN Systems' classic 1987 role-playing game Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny, utilizing the modding capabilities of Gas-Powered Games' Dungeon Siege. In addition to all the features found in its previous release, this Lazarus demo includes a host of new quests, locations, and an all-new frontend." We previously covered this mod back in February.

Functional on both Mac and PC versions of Dungeon Siege, Lazarus Alpha Demo 1.0 is not yet feature-complete, but includes the ability to explore all of Verity Isle, a robust dialogue system, re-designed, custom artwork, vicious monsters and cunning wizards, and a digitally re-mastered soundtrack."
