Parent is serious, not funnyThink of this:
- Standard practice is for any plane that gets off its planned course and without contact with the pilot, air force fighters fly to look after them. (Not for fear of an attack, a plane with technical problems is dangerous enaugh). This sid not happen.
- At least after the first impacts in New York the sky should have been full of air force fighters. Some are kept ready for takeoff within five minutes, around the clock.
- The "plane" that hit the pentagon took the time to fly a half circle around the pentagon, just to hit a part that has been know empty for a long time.
- Actually there was not much damage considering the size of the plane that was suppost to be the cause of the damage.
- The pentagon, full of surveillance cameras, claims to have no pictures of an approacing plane.
- The secret service had bureaus in the WTC until a few months before the crash.
- None of the black boxes on the planes were "found", although they are designed to survive (even form flying height) and to be found (they send signals to help locate them).

Re:What Nader said...
Hmmm, who was the leading party when the American concentration camps and subsequent American occupations were started?
Moore may be the leading propaganda artist for the Democrats or whatever. But you should voice your Nazi comparisons to the correct political party.
To the party who brought us all the joys of a dictatorship, the incarceration without notice, lawyer or even 10% of the former "Miranda"-rights, who opened and operated concentration camps on foreign soil, who started aggressions on fake indictions, who brought torture into the 21st western valued century, who value all other countries and people as Untermenschen, Maruts or whatever and who levelled their own burning Reichstag in downtown Manhattan after getting to power, accompanied by broad law enforcement rights, no more privacy and overall police state. The Democrats may be weasels or follow their hidden agenda - I don't care. But GWB, Ashcroft, Wolfowitz, Bill Reilly, Rice and the rest of the mob are textbook Nazis if there ever were some. -
Re:Best examples of heresy I can think of
You have two people who got a non specific warning about something - they haven't told the press what they were warned about (that's what I'm trying to find out), and the kicker is that there was no reason to warn them.
It wasn't non-specific at all. Both the Washington Post and Haaretz report that the warning was that the WTC would be attacked.
They were not in any danger, because they were 6000 miles away when they were warned.
This is explained in a follow up story by the Post which observes that the Odigo software has "a feature called People Finder that allows users to seek out and contact others based on certain interests or demographics". The person issuing the warning could've send the message to Odigo employees, thinking it would arrive at their HQ in NY.
Why warn them, and not the Israelis who traveled on those planes?
It is easier to ascertain where somebody works than it is on what flights they have reservations on. The latter is treated as confidential information by the airlines. Place of employment however is not, esp. if you have access to state records, passports, etc.
Cheering Israelis who appeared to be Mossad: To me, they appeared too stupid to be Mossad. Sorry - where I come from, undercover agents don't take pictures of each other and get arrested while dancing on their moving van. No way.
This is a stereotype in reverse, isn't it? You don't believe it's possible that Mossad could employ idiots? After all, they don't have a lot of people to choose from.
You do realize that everyone involved in that is either dead or in Depends by now, don't you?
Yes... but it establishes a precedent. That is to say, it isn't inconceivable that Israel would participate in an attack like this to gain sympathy/support/whatever. It's happened before.
1993: World Trade Center bombing
1996: Killing of 19 US soldiers in Saudi Arabia
1998: East African bombings
2000: Attack on USS Cole in Yemen
The complicity of Al Qaeda is an allegation only, at this point. Do I have to list the crimes committed by the U.S. against Arabs? Should I start with our staging the coup in Iran that overthrew a democratically elected gov't in order to install the Shah whose regime is widely regarded to be brutal? Or how about the shelling of civilians in Lebanon? Our attack on a pharmaceutical plant in Sudan which we've never apologized or made reparations for? Our unflinching support/defense of Israel as they steal Palestinian land, bulldoze their homes and torture and murder their citizens? How about those sanctions against Iraq, killing ~500,000, mostly children? Or our support of Hussein as he waged war against Iran? The bombing of Libya, killing Quaddafi's little baby girl, amongst others? Even the first Gulf War reeks, what with the lies about our giving a green light to Saddam, the lies about Kuwaiti babies being ripped from their incubators, the lies about Iraqi troops massing on the Saudi Arabia border. Afghanistan.
You're talking at best 100 deaths. I'm talking upwards of a million, maybe more.
This is nonesense, and insulting nonesense at that. As I tried to explain, media owners couldn't put a lid on this story if it were true. The truth comes out.
How do you know this? With all the media conglomeration that's taking place, don't you think there comes a point when the power over all these reporters becomes so great that they can be silenced? Reporters aren't stupid, they can see which way the wind is blowing. Moreover, the control from the top needn't be explicit... go read The New York Times sometime, they manage their news very well by assigning reporters they know can be t -

Re:Best examples of heresy I can think of
Not true. Both the original Washington Post story and the Haaretz story both talk about the warning specifically referencing the WTC.
They start out crying conspiracy theory, but when presented with the facts, they do tend to grow quiet, don't they? -
Re:Best examples of heresy I can think ofThe first Washington Post story said it was a warning that an attack was to occur on the WTC...
Officials at instant-messaging firm Odigo confirmed today that two employees received text messages warning of an attack on the World Trade Center two hours before terrorists crashed planes into the New York landmarks. Citing a pending investigation by law enforcement, the company declined to reveal the exact contents of the message or to identify the sender.
This was later changed, but it was still said to be a warning of an attack.
What other attacks took place on 9/11?
Do you seriously expect people to ignore this? Particularly in combination with the rest of the facts, most of which I haven't even touched on in this thread, foremost of which being that the mostly-Zionist neoconservatives who have essentially taken over our foreign policy were poised at the ready to take advantage of this attack, or that the mainstream media, mostly Jewish owned or operated, provided no follow-up whatsoever to either the facts implicating Israel nor any real examination of the supposed facts implicating Afghanistan/Iraq?
And what about the Israeli spy ring, the largest ever uncovered in America, which was in proximity to the alleged terrorists as they trained, in America? I find it odd you don't want to address this either.
But what is most damning is how you are willing to give Israelis the benefit of the doubt even though most of the evidence points their way, yet stand by the ridiculous conclusion of our government that it was Al Qaeda even though there is absolutely no evidence implicating them whatsoever, as according to FBI Director Mueller.
I mean c'mon, Al Qaeda had absolutely nothing to gain here, whereas Israel... -
Re:could you patriots please visit this siteYou want us to read this?
No evidence to date has been submitted by ANY organisation which shows any involvement whatsoever by Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. According to all intelligence sources (except North America) that I have heard speaking about 9/11, they all insist no terrorist organisation is capable of carrying out a sophisticated attack of this nature, and it could ONLY have been done by high level officials within the US government itself! So the question is, why is nobody investigating the probability that elements within the US government did these acts?
You're kidding right. I have doubts. I have questions. But, I know everybody in this message board has heard of and probably read the jolly roger and "The Cookbook". Now tell me, how hard is making a bomb? How hard is hijacking a plane with no guards and no guns. Before 9-11, the hijacker wanted something other than to make the plane into a bomb, so everybody did what the jijacker wanted. It only took long enough for the passengers on the fourth plane to find out what was going on for that to all change. -
could you patriots please visit this site
This site may be some kind of nightmare for you and your patriotic viewpoints. Just *try* to keep an open mind and remember the numerous times the Bush administration has already been proven to be lying.

Re:Speaking of which...
It is ridiculous.
Not even a classified report on this to my knowleged. Apparently there was some sort of investigation, but to my knowledge the results of same (if any) have never seen the light of day.
I've been looking at this stuff for a while and to my knowledge it never has cropped up. Strange...
Whilst, we are on the subject, DARPA/CIA/Whoever have had a system called "PROMIS" for a while the purpose of which is to (amongst other things) monitor the stock market for hints of information of exactly this kind. Given that such information did in fact crop up in heavy opions trading on certain key airlines, pity it didn't work on the day huh ?

Re:place your bets!Isn't this what happened just before September 11? Lot of investor bought put options for airline stocks for unknown reasons (unknown until Sep 11, that is...), causing the stocks to dip noticeable. Strangely enough the affected airlines where AMR (American Airlines) and UAL (United), those two whose planes were used in the attacks.
Even more interesting, due to closure of the New York stock exchanges, the "investors" couldn't trade in their loot right away. And by the time it re-opened, papers and the SEC were already makeing the connection between the attacks and the strange trading patterns. Thus, many of those "investors" didn't turn up to collect their loot, even though their options were in the money!

How about April 12th 2002?
The US already attempted a "regime change" in Venezuela this year. This "regime change" was an effort to install a leader that would privatize Venezuela's oil industry. Privatization would allow foreign investors to manipulate the price of oil. Venezuela is an OPEC country so this would have a world-wide effect (imagine Enron on a global scale). If I remember correctly Venezuela broke the oil embargo in the 70's.
To bring us back on topic... The US government does a lot of awful things like this that the people of the US would not approve of. There is no reason a democratic government should be overthrowing other governments. This war, like the war on drugs, is a racket and a sham.
There are a lot of unanswered questions about 9/11. All we can do is continue to search for answers to the questions of who stood down that day and who is making money off this. -
Well, I guess that's how Fascism takes root....
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out - Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out - Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out - Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak for me.

Let me say this clearly: Bush sucks. He's a dangerous, arrogant man who's brother stole the election for him, and who's flushing our democracy down the toilet as fast as we will let him.
