Re: Nothing changed but the language
- - - - - https://www.usmagazine.com/cel...
Several former Miss Teen USA contestants alleged to BuzzFeed News that Donald Trump walked in on them while they were changing.Four women who competed in the annual event in 1997 claimed that the real estate tycoon — who had partial ownership of the Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants from 1996 until 2015 — barged in uninvited while the contestants (some as young as 15) were not fully dressed.
“I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, Oh, my god, there’s a man in here,” former Miss Teen USA Vermont Mariah Billado recounted.
According to Billado, the Republican presidential nominee, now 70, said something along the lines of “Don’t worry ladies, I’ve seen it all before.”

http://www.nydailynews.com/new...Seriously... is this what passes for "news" in the rightwing world ? Stories that are literally IMPOSSIBLE to be true
I am not on the right, so perhaps you are just so far left you can't even see the truth. I am a slightly left leaning libertarian according to political surveys. Don't try to paint me as "the other side" just to attempt to discredit what I say, it is bigoted and childish, and completely false.

The guy's name is Chumley. I immediately imagine that he is a cartoon walrus.

Re:Unless you screen like the Israelis
Society is becoming increasingly uninhabitable because some people can't seem to get it through their heads that a society is not just a question of whom you allow in but whom you do not allow in. All these assholes are getting flagged by the intelligence agencies and no one does anything because they don't want to appear racist.
The Orlando shooter was born in the United States.
The guy in Orlando was reported to the FBI directly by people twice for being a dangerous psychopath. And response? Nada.
The response was they investigated him twice. However, you have to prove that he is a dangerous psychopath before you can anything more. You can't simply throw a person in jail -- or exile a U.S. citizen from the country (however you propose to do that) -- because they watched bad videos and/or their coworkers say they're tied to multiple terrorist groups that, incidentally, totally hate each other.
On the other hand, you've just made a veiled threat of violence ("Its going to be hilarious when people have finally had enough and it snaps"), so I suppose it's time to report you to the FBI and demand a response. No reason for your individual liberty to outweigh the risk of another McVeigh.

Re:A suggestion
Yes, but it's still not any business of the public what celebrities do on their own time....As it is it isn't any more our business than if the neighbor down the street is doing it.
You don't get out much, do you?

just one exception here
Maybe a dozen are implanted into the mother, the rest are not going to make it into a uterus.
Unless the mother is an unbalanced person seeking fame and fortune through the spectacle of reality television.

Re:Jenny McCarthy needs to shut up
Has Jenny cured her sons supposed vaccine induced autism yet?
According to this article she says her son no longer has autism. She doesn't explicitly assert here that she was the one who cured it.

Re:Balanced view.
According to this semi recent article, Will Smith is not a member of CoS. I respect Will Smith as a person as well as his career, so after reading him say,"I don't necessarily believe in organized religion." I will sleep better next time I watch one of his movies.

Re:On the subject of loosers...It's usually USians
What are "USians"? People devoted to US magazine? I mean really, you try to come off as this aloof figure expressing disdain for the petty Americans, then you stoop to using a nonsensical slur. Takes the wind right of your sails, I'll tell you. It's impossible to grant any credence to a grammar rant that's really just an excuse for a jingoistic tirade.
The USA is the 'Microsoft' of the English language - copy it, then change it so that it doesn't work properly with the original version.
You need to get out and see more the world. Singapore (Singlish) has done far more of this than anyone else.
BTW, for anyone who's interested, it's not "British English", it's just "English".
Yes, of course. The English language sprang up pure and complete as the sun was first rising on the British Empire. Go to Friesland in northern Holland. Listen to the native speakers. If you want to retain the purity of your language, I suggest you start asking them for lessons.
The British haven't "owned" the language in hundreds of years. Today you merely speak a somewhat less popular dialect of English, referred to as "British English" specifically or "Commonwealth English" when only describing the language features shared by Australia, NZ, Canada and many other smaller former colonies.
