Re:JFK killed for signing Executive Order 11110This theory is sadly very probably correct. Since you're interested in it, download the following 1-hour excellent documentary The Money Masters. It may get pulled off G. for obvious reasons. Therefore download it for permanent reference; just use Firefox and the VideoDownloader extension to download a copy actually onto your PC and let your friends know how to download it too. It's quite a large file, around 300MB as uncompressed flash.
For similar and other not too distantly related topics, follow this guy's journal. He finds a lot of interesting stuff. If you add him as a slashdot friend, you'll automatically get a message on slashdot every time he posts a new journal entry. BTW, I'm not him and I don't know him personally.

Re:VLC
VLC 0.8.6 supports FLV out of the box, on every platform I've used it on, as it's in ffmpeg now -- I use mplayer on x86_64 Linux, and VLC on PPC OS X.
The extension claims to be from videodownloader.net, and is working just fine on both the platforms I mentioned. It used to be Windows only (because the only FLV-playing software was Windows-only), but as it's working now on my 64-bit Linux Firefox, I figure it's pretty universal. -
Re:Ask yourself this...
Its a pity that they posted it to youtube, you can't download from there

Re:It should work great
It's trivially easy to download the videos off of Youtube. That's one thing that makes it great, even people still stuck on modems can use it. There's even a Firefox Plugin to let you download the videos.

Re:No Flash?
Google Video does not require Flash; I use the manual download link. For YouTube, I use videodownloader.net. Actually, I have my browser scripted to automatically use Google's manual download links and videodownloader to open videos in MPlayer--couldn't be simpler.

Re:simple fix
Not quite! Google Video (along with Youtube and some others) uses Flash Video, which is a different beastie from Shockwave Flash. You can get hotlinks for downloading from VideoDownloader.net. Once downloaded, you can view them with MPlayer. Happy viewing.
