Re:PSP died in the womb.
Why this drive to combine everything into one? Part of the reason for the popularity of the iPod is that its small, light and easy to carry. Add a few button and a bigger screen for games and it becomes too bulky for its original mission. This same sort of combine all into one thinking is what ruined the Me 262, a German jet designed during WW II as a fighter that Hitler insisted be used as a bomber. KISS, keep it sweet and simple, Jobs knows that, too later for Hitler, but Gates need to learn before he throws development money at another "killer" device.

120mph?
The Gridswarm project includes model trainers that can fly 120mph
To me 120mph sounds a little fast, if something goes wrong like a bug in the software they are never going to see the planes again and if they crash there is going to be nothing left other then little bits of wood.
Another thing is I've been in full sized planes that go slower than that, like this week end I went flying in a N3-n and we maxed out at 75mph. -
Re:SR-71 BlackbirdWell, if we're gonna mention aircraft, the Shakleton was originally built just after WWII and was still flying active duty in the UK (for surveilance duty) until the 90s.
I remember a documentary about it just as it was retiring describing this bird as "10,000 loose rivets flying in close formation".

Re:Even The Airplane...
I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but the JN-4 Jenny was a primary trainer, not a military combat aircraft. Why don't we go on to say that the Germans had Me-262s while our boys had to fight with PT-22s?
The Vickers Vimy is a good example of a World War 1 vintage bomber.
Very little in the time period of World War 1 was internally braced or inclosed.

Re:The cost of antimatter...
There weren't a lot of pilots who could have been killed by jet fuel in WWII, were there?
You must not have heard of the Messerschmitt Me 262, or the Gloster Meteor. (There were some other jets in the works at the time, such as the Bell P-59, but the Me 262 and the Meteor are the ones I could find that actually flew in combat during WWII.)
