Re:100 year lock-in and STILL too expensive
Or if you'd like even cheaper domains try EV1Servers at $6.49 (+tax), web.com for $6.95, Hostway for $6.95, or hell even eNom for $5.99. I've heard far too many nasty GoDaddy stories to go near that place with my domains.

Re:who's a good registrar?
If you're looking for a registrar with good morals, you can't beat OpenSRS. They have VERY strict policies against things like spamming, invalid whois and cyberquatting, and will never get in the way of you transferring your domain out of their system if you're not happy. If you'd like an OpenSRS reseller with good prices, check out web.com who sell domains for $8.99US. If you'd like to check out some others, check out the (randomly generated) OpenSRS referral list.

Re:What's the difference?Libel laws exist because not everyone owns a printing press. However, if you're defamed on a web site, you can defend yourself on a web site.
Maybe somebody needs to start a defamation search engine, which links defamation to defenses against same, and lets people compare to see which is more plausible.

Prices... and a Question
Hey everybody. Sorry about the incorrect prices I listed-- the ATA66 price I took from a friend who bought his a month ago at a local shop. And the Fasttrack price I got from pricewatch-- just the wrong card though. Oops!
Also, does anybody know if this will work with an existing onboard ATA66 (HPT) controller?
Thanks,
Spi3lb3rg (thanks to those visiting my site!!)

they're all taken. All of 'em
Dilbert_ writes "Since most dot com domains of the form www.[common english word].com are taken today, you could theoretically surf around using just a dictionary. Now you can search the web from a page that will will automatically generate a fresh load of links, based on a dictionnary. " For some reason this amuses me greatly.
