Could be right about the Godless since we are talking about hours. Someone making people work 7 days a week that calls themselves a Christian doesn't understand the first thing about the Religeon they pretend to have. Think of that the next time a political candidate tries to rub their Religeon in your face (maybe that's why they get called teabaggers?).

Actually I think the democratic institutions in America are strong enough that we can get through this without (much) violence. Right now there's a widespread recognition that national parties are in the pockets of corporate interests, but in order for that to change, we don't even need to abolish the two-party system. A change in party leadership would suffice. Now that is something that might actually happen.

Oh, and BTW, you guys need to unionize (I'm out of the fight, I retire in 2 years). And a thought just occurred to me -- if I were required to work overtime at my normal rate, I'd just refuse to work overtime. Fuck 'em.

False. "Belief in evolution" means belief in "The Origin Of Species" not just the mathematics of transmission of probably pre-existing traits in a population over generations.

If you believe that smallpox is descended from monkeypox, how does this help you recognize that the relatively unrelated cowpox is close enough to smallpox to immunize milk maids from smallpox? Evolution may be an interesting theory as to why the strains differ, but it is not required, especially as germs can exchange plasmids without descent. Especially evolution driven by a purely godless random process rather than a random process that may or may not be directed by the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Azathoth, or YHWH, as you like.

Well obviously the gas in the groundware is not from fracking.

After all, leading experts selected by the Bush administration and paid by the fracking industry have determined that the gas in people's wells came from rotting plant material, so therefore it can't possibly be caused by fracking.

Scientists and other godless atheists usually think that all natural gas was formed by rotting plant material laid down in the carboniferous era. These people believe in other dumb things too, like dinosaurs and homosexuality and stuff that's not in the Bible. You can safely ignore their "evidence" and "logic" because they are tools of the devil.

In reality, it's easy to tell the pure, ideologically correct gas that comes from fracking apart from the biologically-derived natural gas that comes up in people's wells immediately after a fracking operation. See, the gas that comes from fracking is primarily composed of Jesus farts and burps, which is easily determined by the super-sensitive dowsing instruments our experts have in their labs.
