Tax Software for Linux Followup

Vladimir Vuksan asks: "After that feature about tax software for Linux I contacted Kiplinger software, makers of TaxCut in order to ask about the status or a possibility of a Linux port. The next day I got a polite reply from them that I am enclosing below. I remember e-mailing a similar message to Intuit a year ago but never received any reply from them. I would thus advise people who might be interested in a tax software for Linux to contact Kiplinger." Sounds like this is a chance for Linux to get some decent financial software under its belt! So if you've written submissions to Ask Slashdot asking for tax software (and there have been quite a few of you!) then warm up those e-mail programs and send a nice, polite email to them asking for a Linux port. At the very least, they may see that there is a market for Linux.
