    Hinduism isn't about worshipping rats. And it's not actually worshipping the rat, but I wouldn't expect you to understand the answer.

    As for bathing in water as an act of holiness, Christianity does that as well. The act of baptism, you know. Every religion has places that are more holy than others, and acts of cleansing or devotion.

    If you want to scorn India, remember that the population of it's middle class is larger than the entire U.S. population. It's the biggest democracy on the planet. What problems it does have all stem from a corrupt government.
