EU & US Patent "Syncing"

Christian Treczoks writes "Software patents are threatening Europe, too. The EC said "we want software patents to harmonize with the US", but the public - private persons and small to medium businesses - objected. So they made an "Analysis" of the replies. Effectively, 91% are against patenting software, but, as the majority of the proponents are important business figures, it's a draw. " Mmmm...corporate interests. "Fun".

  2. If the US is so horrible lets look at the self by Anonymous Coward · · Score: -1, Troll

. . . proclaimed worker utopias, like China, or North Korea, or Cuba. Those countries were founded on the principals of the great prolitariate revolution. They only exist to improve the life of the common working man. Give me a break. I'm glad the US is finally doing what is in its own self interest. Kyoto would cripple the US economy, and beyond that the only country to ratify it was Bulgaria (I think). The thing is a dead issue but the greens feel better if everyone keeps wasting taxpayer dollars sending delagates to useless conferences.
