The Republicans want to cancel the project because a continuous view of the full earth contradicts their belief that the earth is flat. This is reflected in their foreign policy. Also, Bush is back in Texas for a month so he can hang with people who know that the sky is a big blue tent that stretches over the flat earth. The idea of a round earth with weird foreigners who don't agree with him is just too scary, so he has to get back to where everyone agrees with him.....
vandettas?
Don't know about those, but vendettas have been a way of life in most political circles since we can remember. People hate other people, and they don't care about consequences beyond their own emotions. Hence, stuff happens that shouldn't.
I'm curious about these vandettas, though. Is that like vendetta version 2.0? The new, improved vendetta?
