ZeRo4 Wins; Quake: The Movie Released

They already do... it's called news coverage. This type of spectator sport becomes especially popular after a major "tournaments" such as those held at Columbine High School in Littleton, CO or Hillcrest Elementary in Jonesburo, AR.

I always liked Unreal Tournament better than Quake 3. I'll admit Q3 probably has a bit of an edge graphic engine-wise, but UT has better bot AI, much more sophisticated GUI, and WAY better level design in general. (How many brown-gold-greyish castle type levels are there in Q3 anyway??)

I've seen much more interesting stories (about space, science, and other things real life) that matter a lot more to me than some dude winning a Quake game.
What's with this stereotype that all geeks play Quake, anyway? I like Tribes, Counter-Strike, and Allegiance, which I play weekly. I find Quake rather boring, to be honest. You run around inside killing each other until the game ends, at which time you reconnect(!!). Mmk.
But I digress. You guys should really think about not letting Quake news make front page. Just my $0.02
